This External label system shows ownership and indentifies internal modifications.
Base Level: Personal Logo Designation
This logo indicates the blaster has been permanently modified from its stock form. This includes external & internal mods as well as functional and comfort mods.
-Small JR logo: draw with thin Sharpie, fill in with same thin Sharpie.
-Medium JR logo: draw with thin Sharpie then fill in with actual Sharpie.
-Large JR Logo: Draw with thin Sharpie then go over with actual Sharpie.
"M" designation
This indicates that the blaster has measurable (FPS, distance, accuracy) permanent internal modifications done to it which increase performance.
*Attachments and upgraded parts that can be removed are not considered permanent.
*Swapped internals that are removable are documented in OneNote to know exactly what it has in it.
M (Mod level 0) Material: Materials were permanently removed or added internally.
- PTFE Tape under O-rings (difficult to reverse without damaging the O-ring)
- Removing the thermistor.
- Removing the air restrictors.
- Plugging vent holes (e-tape, hot glue)
- Adding glue for reinforcement.
- Cutting out larger wiring channels.
MI (Mod level 1) Made Inexpensively:
Low cost or homemade parts that are fitted & made from unique or hardened materials that are permanently installed.
- Fitted metal bars cut & installed into stock plastic for reinforcement.
- Rewire with 18 gauge (or 16 gauge wire)
- Press on spring spacer, Nexus (tight fit)
- Epoxy in a PLA printed ball ramp for the Liberator.
- Soldering in a voltage meter
- Gluing in a stronger catch spring
- Gluing in a stronger trigger spring.
MII (Mod Level 2) Modded Internals Irreversibly:
Permanent modifications that prevent required stock components from being re-installed.
- Cutting out the stock switch channel (3D printed Omron switch mount)
- Gluing in a performance barrel (Nexus)
- Replacing O-rings with tight thicker ones
- Cutting the wires to the stock battery tray of the ECS 10.
- Clearing out the battery tray (larger)
- Skinny pusher mod (permanent)
- Hot glue main performance components into the shell (P. Tube)
MIII (Modified to level 3) Complete rebuild: Major Individual Internals Improved
All major performance components permanently modified to the level of a kit.
- Reinforcing the load bearing parts (Plunger tube shell walls and priming parts) for improved internals.
- Rewire to upgraded motors with upgraded switch and cage screws installed with locktight.
MIIIX (Modded Internals Irreversibly Improved to the max)
The blaster has been modded beyond its shell power limitations internally.
O around the X (tier 0)
Complete redesign of the blaster. Shell is completely internally gutted and replaced.
Examples:
- Converting to compressed air (HPA) (e.g., Stampede)
- Using the battery from a power drill.
- Knocking out inside a Maverick shell.
- Compressed air pump inside a Maverick.
Version Designation:
Mk 1 means this is the first version of the blaster improvements.
Mk 1.1 = additional improvements to the same blaster.
Mk 2 means this is the second blaster with improved enhancements.
